Community Involvement

Connected to Our Community

Although we spend the majority of our day serving our clients, we believe that giving back to our community is paramount to overall success and happiness.  The attorneys at our firm do not only practice law;  we are also committed to improving the quality of life in our community.  We have engaged in a wide variety of public service activities, including volunteering at legal clinics for the poor, volunteering at food banks and homeless shelters in our spare time, speaking at colleges,  teaching  at legal education seminars, giving legal workshops to businesses and individuals, and donating to scholarship programs here at home and overseas.  In addition, members of our firm have served in leadership positions and on the boards of a number of charitable and non-profit organizations, including:

  • Tukwila Children’s Foundation
  • Tukwila Rotary
  • Youth in Focus
  • Girl Scouts
  • Boy Scouts
  • Tukwila Skyway Little League
  • Skyway Tukwila Youth Soccer

More importantly, pro bono work is a strong highlight of our firm.  We believe in giving back to our community not only through monetary donations, but also through time and effort.  Over the years, our attorneys have spent hundreds of hours performing pro bono work for worthwhile causes on behalf of poor and indigent clients who otherwise could not generally afford legal representation.  These cases ranged from subjects such as fair housing, immigrant and asylum rights, fair consumer treatment, equal employment opportunity, to protection of the elderly.  Individuals at our firm have received recognition from the Washington State Bar for their pro bono work.
